There have been many changes with the remaining independent market stalls removed to open up the hallway and create the modern space we now have.

A go to place for Christmas shopping and prominent store that could hold it’s own with the very best stores in Manchester or London.

This photo was taken on 28th December 2004.

It was later taken over by Beales and closed in December 2016.
